Sh-t happens…too often

…we are talking a whole other ballgame of poop, people. I gotta tell you, 32 years of Crohns and the last four years with very little large intestine, made for some real interesting moments.

But now I’m here at BAG time…

poosAs many of you know who suffer from Crohns, Colitis, IBS, etc, the output we have is a never ending source of gross, different smells, frequency and jokes if we can be light hearted enough about it.

    Enter now the Ostomy Community who deal with colostomy and ileostomy bags.   Now we are talking a whole other ballgame of poop, people.  I gotta tell you,  32 years of Crohns and the last four years with very little large intestine, made for some real interesting moments.

My 32 year Journey with Crohn’s and a new ileostomy…

This is the story of the warrior I have always been on the inside and now showing that badge (BAG) of courage. The evolution of my inner strength, willpower and determination…

I’m a 48 year old mother of three with a new ileostomy from Crohn’s disease of 32 years, having been diagnosed at 16 and with ulcerative colitis showing up now and then.
 I’ve been blessed to have had three successful pregnancies and three beautiful healthy children who are 20, 16 and 10.

Morning Poo-capades….

There are some mornings when your stoma just WILL NOT COOPERATE. This was one of those mornings.

ppppoo   I wish I could say it doesn’t happen, but as any Ostomate knows, it does…the dreaded morning of your poop having an OUT OF BAG experience…
